The Ship Leopard Boutique Hotel is in a fantastic spot, just steps away from Portsmouth Harbour station and the historic dockyard. I loved the friendly staff. they were always welcoming and willing to help, especially with my luggage when I arrived early. I stayed in a top-floor room with a great view of the Spinnaker Tower and HMS Warrior, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The breakfast served was pleasant, with quick service. The only downside was the noise from the nearby station and buses, which made it hard to relax at times. the lack of a fridge in the room was a bit inconvenient since I wanted to store some snacks and drinks. The decor felt a little dated in some areas, and it could use a refresh in terms of modern amenities. I enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back for the location and service.

A tray in the shower for toiletries would help.

I had a lovely four-night stay where the breakfast was fantastic every morning and I enjoyed the cozy Compact King Room. The hotel offers a nice relaxation area with comfy seating and a well-stocked library. The only slight drawback was the price being on the higher end, but it's definitely worth it for a cozy getaway! 😊

Comfortable Stay with Great Views

Excellent service and prime location
The hotel is perfectly situated across from the historic dockyard and minutes away from Gunwharf Quays, making it an ideal spot for sightseeing. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay. My Compact Double Room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with all necessary amenities, although I would have appreciated some additional information about local attractions in the room.

Quick check-in with decent decor in the rooms and a well-equipped lift. Location right across from transportation hubs makes it easy to explore the area. nearby shops and restaurants provide convenience for dining options.
Room felt cramped with few amenities. no air conditioning and basic coffee supplies lacked utensils. Small details, like crumbs on the floor left unattended for days, and a mattress that sagged too much for comfort made for an uncomfortable stay. The breakfast service was slow, with long waits for cooked meals, which could throw off your morning plans.
